The VISX laser allows uses Active Trak technology, which tracks your eye movements in all three dimensions during the treatment. Patients feel more comfortable and secure knowing that the laser is monitoring their natural eye movements. Large pupils can also be treated with precision on the Visx STAR S4 CustomVue system. Patients who have astigmatism and undergo CustomVue treatments also benefit from Iris Registration technology, which adjusts the laser ablation to compensate for any cyclotorsional movement and/or pupil migration that occurs when the patient goes from the upright to the supine position.
